In 1988 this seal caving artist created the Beijing Hung He Ancient Chinese Carving Store and received awards from the Chinese government for his skilled work in seal carving. Mr. Huang He won first prize in a China Central TV show carving contest, which featured Chinese seal carving artists from all over China.

In October 2003 the mayor of Beijing awarded him the title Beijing artist master and he has carved many seals for officials of the city of Beijing.

Huang He has carved seals for many famous and important leaders around the world including U.S. president George Bush and the Chairman of the International Olympic Committee.

 

     

This is a large Chinese seal carving by artist Huang He for one of our customers. In this pictures to the left you can see the great skill and care that went into creating this beautiful seal carving.

In the top right picture is an actual seal made using this seal carving, which is a laminated certificate of authenticity signed by artist Huang He. The stone shown is a high quality natural stone carefully selected by an expert.

  These three seals are carved on very nice hand carved stones, the first is Sau an old man who symbolizes longevity. The second seal is double dragons holding a pearl between them and the last Chinese seal carving is a Zodiac tiger.

The Cost of Chinese Seal Carvings by Huang He

The cost for each seal carving depends on the type of stone used to create the Chinese seal carving, and the number of characters to be carved. Some stones are much harder than others, thus they require much more time for the artist to carve them as all work is performed by hand. Artist Huang He takes great pride in his work and strives to create the finest Chinese seal carvings available.
